League City, TX (April 30, 2025): League City Police Department detectives have arrested 49-year-old Juan Hernandez, a resident of League City, and charged him with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense ($50,000 Bond).
On April 15, 2025, at approximately 12:23 a.m., LCPD officers responded to a report of a possible burglary at a second-story apartment in the 400 block of Constellation Blvd. The adult female victim reported that an unknown male had entered her residence and fled via the balcony.
Responding officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim, who was unharmed, told police she had been asleep when she awoke to someone touching her leg. She sat up and yelled as she saw a completely nude Hispanic male beside her bed. The suspect reportedly got on top of her, but she was able to push him away and grab her phone. He then fled the scene by jumping over the balcony.
Detective Demasi of the Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), began a thorough investigation. Detectives identified the suspect as Juan Hernandez, who was found to be living in the apartment directly below the victim’s residence.
On April 25, 2025, SIU detectives located Hernandez driving in the 400 block of Texas Ave and conducted a traffic stop. Hernandez was taken into custody without incident. Hernandez is currently subject to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold.
This remains an ongoing investigation as Detective Demasi is working to determine if there may be additional victims. Anyone with information or who believes they may have been a victim is urged to contact Detective Demasi at 281-338-4173.
