League City, TX (April 29, 2025): League City Police Officers have arrested 30-year-old Orlando Ferrer Garcia and 20-year-old Fernando Grabey Suarez, both of Houston. Garcia has been charged with Evading Arrest/Detention Motor Vehicle ($250,000 Bond) and Theft >=$2,500=$2,500
On April 29, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the League City Police Department was notified of a theft in progress at Ulta Beauty, 3120 S Gulf Fwy Ste A. LCPD received information the suspects were driving away in a silver Chevy Cobalt. Officer Jones, who was in the vicinity, located the Chevy at approximately 3:01 p.m. Officer Jones attempted to stop the Chevy, but the driver, later identified as Garcia, failed to stop, prompting a vehicle pursuit.
The chase continued onto S IH 45, continuing through the NASA Bypass, SH 3 and FM 518. The pursuit concluded around 3:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of S Friendswood Dr in Friendswood, when the Chevy struck a curb and stopped in a grassy area.
Garcia and his passenger, Suarez, were taken into custody without further incident.
