League City, TX (July 28, 2025): League City Police Officers are investigating a robbery that occurred at H-E-B, 2955 S Gulf Fwy.
On July 28, 2025, at approximately 5:05 PM, the League City Police Department received a report of shots fired at the H-E-B located at 2955 South Gulf Freeway. Officers arrived on scene at 5:09 PM and determined that the suspects had already fled the location.
Through the course of the investigation, officers learned that three Black males wearing black hoodies, face coverings, and surgical gloves entered the store and went directly to a jewelry repair and sales shop located inside. One suspect pepper-sprayed an employee while the others began smashing display cases and stealing jewelry and watches. The suspects then fled the store and got into a waiting SUV before leaving the property.
It was later confirmed that no shots were fired during the incident and no firearm was displayed.
