League City Police Arrest Texas City Man on Child Pornography Charges
League City Police Detectives have arrested 33-year-old Valentine Garcia of Texas City, formerly of League City, on multiple child pornography charges. Garcia has been charged with:
- Possession of Child Pornography – Visual Material Depicting Sexual Assault of a Child (Bond: $250,000)
- Possession of Child Pornography – 50 or More Visual Depictions (Bond: $250,000)
The arrest stems from a nearly six-month investigation launched in March 2025 by an investigator with the League City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), who also serves as a member of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The investigation began after a cyber-tip was received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, CID Detectives and ICAC Investigators, with assistance from the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Task Force, executed a search warrant in the 8800 block of Emmett F. Lowry Expressway in Texas City. The search resulted in the seizure of several electronic devices containing child pornography.
Garcia was taken into custody at the residence without incident and transported to the League City Jail.
