On August 28, 2025, officers with the Friendswood Police Department arrested Juan Mata Sr., 49, of South Houston, on a Galveston County warrant for Continuous Sexual Abuse of Young Children. His bond was set at $350,000.
The arrest follows a lengthy investigation in which multiple victims were identified. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information about this individual to contact the Friendswood Police Department at 281-996-3300.
