League City Police Department officers have arrested 37-year-old Jesus Martin Cantu of League City on charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, >=4g
On September 9, 2025, LCPD K9 Officer Jones conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford F-150 in the 300 block of W Wilkins St. The driver, later identified as Cantu, was found to have a suspended Texas driver’s license. During the stop, Officer Jones deployed K9 Donna, who alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed multiple baggies containing a total of 20.26 grams of suspected cocaine. Cantu was taken into custody without incident.
Following the arrest, Officer Jones and detectives with the LCPD Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at Cantu’s residence in the 800 block of Driftwood St. The search uncovered evidence of additional illegal narcotics activity.
