On September 3, 2025, Detective O’Neal with the League City Police Department’s Business District Unit (BDU) identified the suspect in a recent robbery at Walmart as Ronald Flanagan, 21, of Houston.

 

During the course of the investigation, Detective O’Neal coordinated with investigators with the Houston Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Through this collaboration, both agencies confirmed Flanagan as a suspect in similar robbery cases at Walmart’s in their jurisdiction based on information developed by the BDU.

 

The related robberies include:

  • Houston Police Department – Robbery at Walmart, loss of $4,153
  • Harris County Sheriff’s Office – Robbery at Walmart, loss of $5,365
  • League City Police Department – Robbery at Walmart, loss of $2,965

 

On Monday, September 22, 2025, Flanagan was arrested in Houston by the HPD Violent Offender Squad on the HPD warrant. Flanagan will eventually be transported to the Galveston County Jail and charged with Robbery ($60,000 Bond) for the case in League City.
