The City of Friendswood has secured a grant through the Texas General Land Office’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Resilient Communities Program (RCP). The purpose of this GLO grant is to assist the City in formulating a forward-looking Comprehensive Plan that integrates hazard mitigation. Once the plan is updated, updates that align with the new plan will be made to the Zoning Ordinance.
