Two Suspects Arrested and Charged in O’Reilly Auto Parts Burglary

Felony charges were filed against two suspects connected to a November 24, 2025, burglary of O’Reilly Auto Parts, located at 3498 FM 528 in Friendswood. Between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., suspects forced entry into the business by prying open a secured door. Three generators were stolen.

During the investigation, detectives obtained surveillance footage that captured a blue hatchback entering the O’Reilly’s parking lot with its headlights off at 3:11 a.m., a time that aligned with the burglary. Detectives were able to confirm the vehicle as a blue Nissan and captured the license plate.

On November 26, 2025, at approximately 12:46 a.m., Pearland Police conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and identified the driver as Jesse Davis Mosley and the passenger as Nelvin Trenele Jones. Officers located ski masks, gloves, and a crowbar inside the vehicle. Both subjects were arrested and charged through Brazoria County with Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument – Possession with Intent to Use.

Later, during interviews, detectives determined that Jones, a recently released prison convict, used a crowbar to break into the business and stole the generators while Mosley acted as a lookout. The case was presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Charges of Burglary of a Building were accepted against both Mosley and Jones. The Harris County warrants were issued and served on them while they were in the Brazoria County Jail.
