Before checking that e-bike off of your Christmas list, please take a moment to review this important information regarding Texas law and e-bike classifications.
It is also important to note:
-All e-bikes are required to have a manufacturer’s label showing class, motor wattage, and maximum assisted speed.
-Tampering with speed limiters/governors is also prohibited under Transportation Code 551.351.
