Earlier this month, Mayor Mike Foreman presented a proclamation recognizing the month of February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Thank you to the members of the Friendswood Police Department and Bay Area Turning Point who were present. According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1 in 3 U.S. teens will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse from someone they’re in a relationship with before becoming adults.
