League City, TX (March 5, 2026) – League City Police Department officers have arrested 19-year-old Tyler Robinson of League City and charged him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond has been set at $20,000.

 

On March 5, 2026, at approximately 9:04 a.m., officers responded to a reported weapons offense in the 2700 block of W Marina Bay Dr. Dispatch advised that a male driving a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee allegedly pointed a firearm at another driver before leaving the area.

 

While enroute, officers located the suspect vehicle traveling westbound on W Marina Bay Dr. Officers observed the Jeep weaving between lanes and conducted a high-risk traffic stop in the 900 block of E. Main Street. The driver, identified as Robinson, was detained without incident. A handgun in a holster was observed in the driver-side door panel.

 

During the investigation, the victim told officers that Robinson had been tailgating him, then pulled alongside his vehicle, rolled down the window, brandished a handgun, and pointed it at him. The victim’s description of the firearm and holster matched what was recovered from the Jeep. The victim also provided a description of Robinson, including his clothing.

 

The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office accepted the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Robinson was transported to the League City Jail without incident.
