League City, TX (May 20, 2026) – League City Police Department officers have arrested 19-year-old Jorden Lusk of La Marque. Lusk was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle ($50,000 Bond), Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon ($2,500 Bond) and Evading Arrest/Detention on Foot ($2,500 Bond). 

 

On May 19, 2026, at approximately 3:08 p.m., LCPD Officer L. Hudgens observed a black Chevrolet Malibu traveling 56 mph in a posted 30 mph school zone in the 4800 block of West Main Street. When Officer L. Hudgens attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver failed to stop and fled the area, initiating a pursuit through multiple parking lots and roadways in League City and into Friendswood. 

 

The pursuit ended at approximately 3:11 p.m. when the suspect lost control of the vehicle near the 3100 block of West Bay Area Boulevard and crashed into the landscaping area of The Reserve at Autumn Creek Apartments. The driver, later identified as Jorden Lusk, then exited the vehicle and fled on foot into the apartment complex. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended near Building 19 at approximately 3:16 p.m., with assistance of Officer D. Hudgens with the Friendswood Police Department.

 

Officers later located a Glock 23 handgun equipped with an extended magazine in the Chevrolet. Lusk was transported to the League City Jail without further incident.
