On July 1, 2026, the Friendswood Police Department arrested 47-year-old Brandy Damico Schmidt of Houston on a Galveston County warrant for Theft of Mail (10 or Fewer Addresses).
Schmidt stole 2 packages from the front porch of a residence in the 300 block of Eagle Lakes Drive on June 16, 2026. Investigators were able to positively identify Schmidt using video evidence and other investigative tools. One of the packages was successfully recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Schmidt was booked into the Friendswood City Jail and will be transported to the Galveston County Jail. Schmidt’s bond is set at $1,500.
