Today, we had the honor of celebrating the life and legacy of former Chief of Police Robert “Bob” Wieners with the dedication of a memorial bench at the Friendswood Veterans Memorial.
During the dedication ceremony, Chief Josh Rogers, Mayor Mike Foreman, City Manager Morad Kabiri, Friendswood Police Chaplain Ralph Hobratschk, and Council Member Trish Hanks shared heartfelt memories and reflected on Chief Wieners’ lasting impact on the City of Friendswood. His leadership, service, and commitment to our community continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.
The memorial bench stands as a lasting tribute. This will be a place to pause, reflect, and remember a man whose legacy will remain an enduring part of Friendswood.
