PARADE TRAFFIC: Friendswood Youth Sports Day Parade
The Friendswood Youth Sports Day Parade will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
Road closures begin at 8:50 AM and are expected to last about 30 minutes.
Alternate routes for drivers are as follows:
Northbound FM 518 (toward FM 2351):
Traffic will be redirected using the following route:
E. Shadowbend → Morningside Dr. → Heritage Dr. → Pecan Dr. → FM 2351
Drivers traveling the opposite direction (from FM 2351) can use the same streets to return southbound to E. Shadowbend and S. Friendswood Drive/FM 518.
Eastbound FM 2351:
Use Blackhawk Blvd. as an alternate route to reach FM 528.
Southbound N. Friendswood Dr. (FM 518):
Traffic will be diverted East onto FM 2351 at the FM 518/FM 2351 intersection.
