League City, TX (April 6, 2026) – League City Police Department officers arrested a League City man following a road rage incident along the South Gulf Freeway.

Joshua Leslie, 24, was charged with one felony count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon ($40,000 bond), along with two misdemeanor charges of Driving While Intoxicated ($1,500 bond), and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon ($2,500 bond).

On April 5, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers received a report of a rolling disturbance in the 100–200 block of S Gulf Freeway. The victim reported that Leslie, driving a black Chevy Silverado, yelled at him in the Crunch Fitness parking lot before pointing a handgun and pursuing his vehicle.

Leslie followed the victim onto S Gulf Freeway and into the Shell Timewise gas station parking lot, where he got out of his vehicle and again pointed the handgun.

Officers located the vehicles entering the northbound main lanes of IH 45 and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. The Chevy stopped in the 21,000 block of IH 45 in Webster. Leslie was non-compliant with officers’ commands and stepped towards the edge of the overpass. A Taser was then deployed to gain compliance, and Leslie was taken into custody without further incident.

Officers observed three handguns and one shotgun inside the vehicle, along with multiple boxes and loose rounds of ammunition.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact LCPD at 281-332-2566.
