League City, TX (April 14, 2026) – The League City Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, has arrested 43-year-old Brian Turner Dickson of Texas City in connection with an aggravated robbery. Dickson is charged with Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony, and is being held on a $150,000 bond. He also had an outstanding warrant from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for a parole violation.
On April 3, 2026, at approximately 4:35 p.m., LCPD officers responded to League City Mart, located at 322 N. SH 3, following a reported robbery. The suspect, described as a Black male wearing dark clothing and sunglasses, fled the scene on foot after allegedly pointing a firearm at the clerk and stealing approximately $600 in cash, along with the clerk’s phone and wallet. The clerk was not injured.
Officers used location data from the stolen phone, which indicated it was near the intersection of W. Main Street and the Gulf Freeway, leading them to believe the suspect left the area in a vehicle. The phone was later recovered near that intersection.
Detectives with LCPD’s Criminal Investigation Division and LCPD’s Crime Scene Unit responded to process evidence and continue the investigation. Through investigative efforts, detectives identified Dickson as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On the morning of April 14, 2026, LCPD Special Investigations Unit detectives, working alongside the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, located Dickson at a hotel in the 15000 block of the Gulf Freeway in Houston. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the League City Jail.
