UPDATE 9:26 AM: The driver of the personal vehicle involved in the accident was transported to the hospital. No injuries were reported for students or the bus driver. All lanes of the roadway are now open.
TRAFFIC: May 18, 2026, 8:32 AM: The Friendswood Police Department is currently on scene of an accident involving a school bus in the 5000 block of FM 2351. All Eastbound lanes of 2351 are shut down. Traffic is being diverted South on Blackhawk.
