On Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 9:34 AM, the Friendswood Police Department, in partnership with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested 59-year-old Kenneth Homburg of Tiki Island.

Following an investigation by the Friendswood Police Department, a search warrant was conducted on Homburg’s residence where multiple digital files depicting sexual abuse of a child were discovered. The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges for First Degree Image Depicting Sexual Assault of a Child and Second Degree Possession of Child Pornography and his total bonds were set at $160,000.

“We will not waiver in our dedication to safeguarding the children in our community,” said Chief Rogers. “We have no tolerance for predators targeting children whether online or in person. We have made a commitment to protect citizens of all ages and that is what we will continue to do.”

The Friendswood Police Department would like to thank all of the agencies who assisted in the apprehension of this individual and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for their resources and support.
